What are CSR2 mods?
CSR2 mods is a broad search term. This guide covers the official game’s upgrade and tuning systems: installed stages, fusion parts, nitrous, gearbox and tire pressure. Check the exact car and build before comparing results.
This guide does not offer modified game files. It explains in-game build choices and links to the official help for the underlying mechanics.
Upgrades: the foundation
Record the upgrade categories and installed stages shown for your exact car. Do not assume a guide for another model or variant has identical requirements. Check the next upgrade and its displayed cost before planning your build.
Fusion parts
Fusion parts add EVO rather than PP and are manufacturer-specific. Check the available slot and the part requested by your car. Record fitted fusion parts separately from installed upgrade stages.
Tunes and shift patterns
The official tuning screen covers nitrous, gearbox and tire pressure once the relevant parts are tuneable. Save your baseline, change one setting at a time and compare repeated runs over the same distance. A tune from a different build is not a guaranteed result.
Use a traceable reference
A useful reference identifies the car variant, installed stages, fitted fusion parts, settings and shift pattern. Keep displayed figures separate from actual race results, and check the source date before treating event-specific advice as current.
